How quickly do I get access?
Straight away. As soon as you sign up you can log in to the MCQ Master portal on our website (using the email address you purchased with) and jump straight into question practice.
How long will I have access?
MCQ Master is a subscription, so it depends which plan you choose - monthly or annual. You lock in your rate when you subscribe, so as long as you don't cancel, you'll stay at that rate even when the price goes up.
Are the questions suitable for my course?
MCQ Master is built for all law students, from your first year at university all the way up to your SQE exams.
We know how important it is to get practice in early when it comes to being successful in your SQE qualifying exams, which is why we encourage all our students to start practising multiple choice questions from as early on as possible in their legal studies.
- Legal Knowledge questions test your knowledge of the law, with one correct answer out of four. These include cases and legislation.
- SQE questions test your application of the law, with one best answer out of five.
Can I use MCQ Master on my phone?
Yes - just log in to your portal from any browser. We recommend a tablet or laptop for the best experience, especially for the longer SQE1 style questions.
Are SQE1 (FLK1 & FLK2) style questions included?
Yes. Alongside our standard questions, we have SBA (single best answer) questions like those in your SQE1 exams. SBA questions have five possible answers and your job is to pick the best one.
FLK1: Business Law & Practice, Dispute Resolution, Contract, Tort, Legal Services, the Legal Systems of England & Wales, and Public Law.
FLK2: Property Practice, Wills and the Administration of Estates, Land Law, Equity & Trusts, Solicitors Accounts, and Criminal Law & Practice.
Which subjects are covered?
Contract, tort, land, equity & trusts, criminal, public law (including the legal system of England & Wales), EU law and company law.
Each subject can be tested as a whole, or by sub-topic (e.g. you could just test yourself on contract formation questions, or breach of contract).
Our SQE1 style questions cover the entire FLK1 and FLK2 syllabus, including business practice, dispute resolution, legal services, property practice, wills and the administration of estates, solicitors accounts, criminal practice and tax, in addition to the subjects listed above.
We're adding more questions across more topics, and there's a place inside for you to request what you'd like to see next.
Do you offer refunds?
Due to the digital nature of this product, we don't offer refunds for access to MCQ Master. This is why we have a monthly option available if you don't want to commit for the entire year.
Remember that if you cancel - even for a few days - you'll lose your original price and rejoin at the current rate. That's why our annual plan is so heavily discounted: even if you don't want to think about the law over summer, you'll pay less overall than jumping in and out.

I don't need to know cases or legislation - will this still help?
Yes. You can remove all questions that test you on specific cases and legislation. If you're consolidating knowledge for the SQE, our Legal Knowledge questions are a good place to start before moving on to our SQE questions.
I need to learn cases - can you help with that?
Absolutely. We have a range of case-specific questions on the platform, with new ones added regularly. You can test yourself on cases alone, or include them as part of each subject.
Can I cancel or pause my membership?
You can cancel at any point from the profile section of your membership, and you'll keep access until the end of your billing period. If you would like to pause your membership, please get in touch at help@lawanswered.com.
I'm only studying a couple of subjects - is it still worth it?
There are hundreds of questions for each subject, so you'll get plenty of practice even if you've only covered a handful so far. You can also select by sub-topic within each subject to practise the areas of law you have covered in your course.
