Law school is hard.
We make it easier.
Let's be honest. Law school feels like a full-time job and a full-time anxiety trigger. You're juggling:
- Reading lists that never end
- No time to turn any of it into usable notes
- Notes cobbled together from lectures, textbooks and whatever you found online
- Revision that's really just rereading and hoping
- No real idea whether you'd pass if the exam were tomorrow
You don't need more material.
You need a system.

I can't begin to express how useful it was getting information into my brain before exams, especially contract, which I'd dreaded all year. Turns out I knew more than I thought.

How do I access everything once I've joined?
You'll get an email with your login details. Study notes are read in the MyLiveBook app, where you can search, highlight and annotate on up to three devices, online or off. MCQ Master (our practice question platform) can be accessed via the Law Answered website.
Do I still need to buy printed guides?
Only if you want them. Your membership includes digital access to every guide you need, and members get an exclusive discount on all printed notes.
Can I try it before I sign up?
There's no free trial, but there's plenty to look at first. Every guide's product page has a sample you can read. You can also sign up for a single month rather than committing to the year.
How do I cancel my membership?
You can cancel at any time, from your membership profile, and you'll keep access until the end of your billing period.
It's worth knowing before you do: cancelling means losing your locked-in price and any annotations in your MyLiveBook library, and you'd rejoin at whatever the current rate is. That's why the annual plan is discounted so heavily (because summers should be for fun, not studying!).
I'm studying outside England and Wales. Is it still useful?
Our guides follow the law of England and Wales, which is taught at law schools around the world, and we have happy members globally. They don't cover Scots law.
