Setting up MyLiveBook for the first time
- Find your activation email
Look for an email from support@mylivebook.com and click the unique activation link inside it.
- Create your password
Use the same email address you bought your membership with, then select "Sign up".
- Log in
You'll be taken to MyLiveBook. Your guides appear on your home page — click a front cover to start reading.
- No email? Reset instead
Go to MyLiveBook, enter your purchase email and choose "Forgot password". A reset link will be sent to you.
- Add it to your phone
Download MyLiveBook from the App Store or Google Play and log in with the same details.

How to search, highlight and annotate

Getting the most out of your guides

- ✅Don't read cover to cover. Dip in and out, focusing on what you actually need.

How to get into MCQ Master
- Log in to the Law Answered website
Press the person icon in the top right of the screen and sign in with the email address you used to buy your membership.
- Go to MCQ Master
Head to lawanswered.com/pages/mcq-quiz — or use the MCQ Master link in the menu at the top of this page.
- Start practising
Pick a subject and go. Little and often beats one long cram session.
If the questions don't load, you're most likely not logged in, or logged in with a different email address to the one on your membership. Email help@lawanswered.com and we'll sort it.

Managing your membership
Everything below happens in your membership portal. Sign in with the email address you bought your membership with.
Switch to an annual plan
Annual members get several months free and a bigger discount on printed guides.
- Open your membership portal.
- Select your Law Answered+ membership.
- Choose the option to change your plan, and pick annual.
- Confirm.
Your new plan starts on your next billing date.
Switch to a monthly plan
Same route: open your membership portal, select your membership, choose to change your plan and pick monthly. The change takes effect on your next billing date.
Update your card or billing details
Open your membership portal, select your membership, then update your payment details and confirm.
Check your next payment or past charges
Your membership portal shows your upcoming renewal date and a history of previous charges.
Cancel your membership
Open your membership portal, select your membership and choose to cancel. Your access continues until your next billing date.
Worth knowing before you do: if you cancel, even for a month, you'll lose the highlights and annotations you've made in your guides, and you'll rejoin at whatever the price is then. That's why the annual plan is discounted so heavily — even if you don't touch the law over summer, it works out cheaper than jumping in and out.
Can I pause my membership?
We don't offer pauses. If you don't need access for a while you can cancel and rejoin later, bearing in mind you'll lose your annotations and rejoin at the current price.
